General Information:

  • Pick up may be early in the morning. All garbage must be at the curb by 6:30am. Putting your garbage out the night before would help avoid missing your pick up.
  • Once a week we will gladly pick up one large item placed at the curb by 6:30am on your regularly scheduled pick up day.
  • Additional pick ups are available for an extra cost. Estimates are available.
  • Should your pick up day fall ON or AFTER the following holidays, your pick up will be delayed one day during that week only:
New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Household Garbage:

General household garbage can be placed in your own 35-gallon garbage cans or you can choose to rent a brown 96-gallon garbage cart on wheels from us for an additional fee.

You will receive a bill from Nuway Disposal quarterly (March, June, September, and December).

Yard Waste

Yard Waste can be put out on your normal pickup day. There are three ways to dispose of yard waste.

1) Place all yard waste in 30-gallon brown paper yard waste bags. No stickers are required. Yard waste bags can be found at local hardware and grocery stores.

2) Apply the “Yard Waste” sticker to your own 33-gallon container. Additional stickers are available at Oak Forest City Hall.

3) Rent a 96-gallon yard waste cart from Nuway for an additional fee (billed March 1st). To rent a yard waste cart, call Nuway Disposal at 708-532-8787.
